Driving Closer Alignment with Hanwha
Seoul, March 19–23, 2026 — Board of Management (BOM) conducted an official business visit to HGI, Seoul. As part of its ongoing effort to strengthen strategic alignment with Hanwha General Insurance (HGI).
The visit was designed as a comprehensive program combining executive-level discussions, corporate visits, and cultural engagement—reflecting LGI’s commitment to deepen collaboration within the Hanwha ecosystem.
The program commenced on March 19, 2026, with the arrival of the LGI delegation in Seoul. The first day included an introductory visit to Hanwha Memorial Hall, offering insights into Hanwha Group’s legacy, values, and long-term business evolution. This initial agenda set the foundation for a deeper understanding of the Group’s philosophy and strategic direction.
On March 20, 2026, LGI’s leadership attended the main corporate agenda with a visit to Hanwha General Insurance Headquarters, where they were received for a leadership meeting with Mr. Chae Beom Na, CEO of HGI.
During this session, LGI’s BOM engaged in strategic discussions covering HGI’s long-term business direction, innovation priorities, and market positioning. The dialogue explored opportunities for synergy in product development and risk management, as well as HGI’s approach to health insurance, including wellness-driven initiatives and potential collaboration in talent development and exchange programs.
The engagement was further strengthened through a dedicated tea time session, allowing both leadership teams to exchange perspectives in a more open and collaborative setting. This interaction went beyond formal discussion—building trust, alignment, and a shared understanding of future opportunities.
Following the HQ visit, the delegation continued with a series of curated visits, including 63 Building, and the National Museum of Korea, providing both cultural exposure and broader context on Korea’s economic and social landscape. The day concluded with a formal dinner, reinforcing relationships among participants.
On March 21, 2026, LGI representatives attended the Hanwha Insurance Festival 2026 – Rising Together at KINTEX Exhibition Hall, Goyang—a key highlight of the entire program. The event brought together leaders and participants in a large-scale setting that emphasized unity, collaboration, and shared growth. Members of BOM were invited as distinguished participants, underscoring their strategic role within the broader Hanwha ecosystem.
Throughout the program, the delegation also engaged in both structured and informal interactions, including group meals and networking, which played a significant role in strengthening interpersonal connections and fostering cross-cultural understanding.
